AK-12: Russia Unveils Newest Kalashnikov Assault Rifle /swoon
Fifth-generation Kalashnikov assault rifle best Kalashnikov assault rifle?
The AK-12 has a classic feel, which creates a constructively simple automatic rifle with an option to mount powerful muzzles and fat rambo sized magazines. Designers created the new rifle as a basic platform and takes alot of inspiration from the joys of building with lego, operators can use this for the development of nearly 20 different modifications for civil and military firearms which is nearly as many attachments as a Kirby vacumn cleaner. The caliber of cartridges used for the new rifles may vary from 5.45х39 to 7.62х51 millimeters.

Wizard Bullets? No thats laser baby...
From the epic minds of 2 Sandia researchers Red Jones, Brian Kast, and their colleagues......
A patented design for a self-guided bullet that is very much a real life aimbot and is described as a dart-like, self-guided bullet for small-calibre, smooth bore firearms that could hit laser-designated targets at distances of more than a mile.
Sandia is now seeking a private investment to complete testing of the prototype and bring the aimbot to the marketplace to make fat bank for both concerned. Researchers have had initial success testing the design in simulations and in field tests built from commercially available parts thus far.

Pink firearms have become mainstream.
Major companies are cashing in on peoples need to appeal to others through material items and the reactions range from Kawaii! to gtfo! but enough people must buy them to keep them in the product line. Sky-blue or yellow guns seem less common, and fewer companies market epic zebra-pattern or a trippy styled polka-dot finish.

Mossberg 510 Mini Great for Kids... apparently
With adjustable training stocks for children! |
Your move punk... |
Mossberg set out to create a dedicated shotgun for kids and the height challenged gun fan and all though it completely looks like it they didn’t just stick on a smaller stock on their epic 500 model and go for soup. Instead, their engineers made everything small and created what is arguably the world’s smallest fully-functional pump-action shotgun!!
No more will mugging midgets be like taking candy from a baby.

Bands still not embracing new business models like Spotify
Set the fee moar like - amirite? |
"It's a cool thing to have if you're in a new band and you want to be heard," he said. "But if you are a bigger band that's already known and you rely on record sales for a living, then it's really no place to be."
They're to busy selling their music to numerous films and adverts for more cash and making their music and unique style become a drowned out sound in the white noise of commercial media.

A wild Krokodil appears!
Russia has more heroin users than any other country in the world – up to two million, according to unofficial estimates. For most, their life revolves around crime, prison and probable contraction of permanent pool closure.
As efforts to stem the flow of Afghan heroin into Russia bring some limited success, and the street price of the drug goes up, for those addicts who can't afford their next hit, an even more terrifying Pokèmon called Krokodil has raised its head.

Police, along with the U.S. Department of Defence, are researching new technology in a scanner placed on police vehicles that can detect concealed weapons.
Racial profiling makes me sick..... |
It’s called Terahertz Imaging Detection. It measures the energy radiating from a body up to 16 feet away, and can detect anything blocking it, like a gun or power levels that are over 9000.
But Civil Liberties Groups Up In Arms as usual...

Michael Kiwanuka Winner of BBC sound of 2012
His name is mental to pronounce but boy does he have sex with your ears. Not many artists over the years happily claim to be influenced by a free cover mount CD on a magazine, normally it comes from some broken home, family, quest to the biggest thing since slice bread trends or the classic X factor/American Idol blubber fest of a reason. But MK doesn't seem to be trying to impress and doesn't afraid of anything.

Railguns - Not just Quake 2 weapon of devastation anymore
First cooked up In 1918 by French inventor Louis Octave Fauchon-Villeplee then revived in WWII : "The Sequel" by the badguys. Although never build by them it sure did make the goodguys /drool and go to work to see if the theory was feasible then finally by the 70's as part of the “star wars” Strategic Defence Initiative; railguns use magnetic fields to propel a conductive projectile like a metal rod, to incredible speeds.
